Company description:
Chulan Construction Sdn Bhd (Chulan) originate as Syarikat Chulan Enterprise (SCE) back in 1979. Founded by En Ab Rahman Dato’ Zaharin as a sole proprietorship, SCE has, over the years, proven its capabilities and upgraded its License with the Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK) from Class D in 1984 to finally, Class A in 1993.
In May 1994, Syarikat Chulan Enterprise Sdn Bhd (SCESB) was formed, and subsequently SCE’s Class A and Bumiputera status with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor were transferred to SCESB. On 30th July 2003 the company name was changed officially to Syarikat Chulan Construction Sdn Bhd (SCCSB) and further simplified to Chulan Construction Sdn Bhd in May 2006.
Chulan is currently registered with CIDB under category Grade G7 (for projects above RM10 Million) and the Ministry of Finance for categories related to manufacturing of wood products (furnitures and fittings). The Company is also registered with DPMM Selangor and Perak, Dewan Usahawan Melayu Malaysia, as well as PEKA (Persatuan Pengusaha Kayu Kayan Malaysia).
In line with its core business and the Company’s long term objectives, Chulan opened up its own woodworking factory, with emphasis on the manufacturing of high quality joinery works and other wood-related products. Our factory, currently located in Rawang, Selangor is being operated by a team of craftsmen and technicians with solid expertise and experience in the woodworking industry.
Besides being actively involved in local projects, Chulan is currently venturing into international global market and participating in bids for projects in the Middle East, UK and Europe.
Chulan is also actively participating in promoting our Malaysian wood products to the international market and now in the final stages of preparing MOU with a Czech firm for assembly and export of wood products.
With a credible and diligent team and our strong commitment as a hands-on Bumiputera establishment, Chulan is poised to be professionally involved in a challenging construction and related industry.
