SS Innovations Sdn Bhd, as a Bumiputera-based company, commenced operations in 2000. Since then, the Company has expanded with more than 50 personnel Malaysian-wide for 2004. From the initial operations of provision of engineering services, the Company has widened its scope of services into diversified areas of engineering, project management, procurement, safety supplies, construction and commissioning of oil & gas facilities and building & infrastructure.
The Company is capable of providing various engineering-related services to the oil & gas industry. To date, the Company has provided and capable of undertaking miscellaneous roles to operators, consultants and fabricators in diversified areas of engineering, project management, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
In the oil & gas and marine industry, the Company has formed numerous strategic alliances with local fabricators (offshore fabrication works), consultants, and offshore contractors including offshore installation contractors (OIC) and offshore hook-up contractors (HUC), in order to allow for flexibility in performing the various forms of offshore oil & gas occupational safety contracts.
The Company has also formed strategic partnership with various foreign oil & gas companies for international tenders and provision of professional services and personnel. To date, our partners vary from a multinational engineering corporation based in Belgium , Holland and the U.K. With these alliances, we have increased our capability and expertise in the specialist areas of oil & gas and marine engineering such as Material Handling Equipment, Safety Equipment, Air & Vacuum Products, Precision Tools Manufacturing and many others. Similarly, our capability has widened, to the extent that all types of contracts, even turnkey or privatization works, are now with our reach.
With a pool of knowledge acquisition and experience, SSISB has now become an active player in the marketplace. We offer wide range of technical services, each with highest quality in safety, basic and detailed engineering, development and project management, procurement management, fabrication and construction. With the rapidly changing technology fueling new businesses, SSISB has to capitalize on its human asset. This has been the foundation of SSISB intellectual capital. Drawing from our management team from the infrastructure and oil & gas industries, we able to create and integrate a number of different disciplines albeit from general worker to designer, from technologists to engineers working directly on development projects rather than moving them into administration management roles. This challenge was to create a system more consistent with the client and business environment taking into consideration of risk and reward.
To date, our clients vary from federal and local governments, major and international consultants, contractors and developers to oil & gas operators, fabricators and shipbuilders. With the combined experience of our technically qualified team, we are well positioned to take on from simple construction work to diverse EPCC and Turnkey projects, may it be from the normal construction industry to the stringent Oil & Gas industry. With our engineering expertise and extensive experience, we have been and shall be able to meet client's demand efficiently, effectively and economically.
