A leading International Location-based Service Provider is seeking suitable applicants to handle its land-survey services to a major oil & gas client in South-east Asia:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordination of all Geomatics Operations (field and mapping) projects in a given area of interest.
- Supervise and manage a minimum of 4 survey crews and office support team.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to survey teams.
- Ensure performance of projects meet technical, regulatory, HSE, cost and timeline requirements.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback to client.
- Accountable for HSE performance of client at project sites.
- Review and approve invoices for Onshore Geomatics projects.
- Involved in tendering process for Onshore Geomatics contracts.
- Ensure implementation of Onshore Geomatics standards.
- Ensure implementation/adaptation of new regulatory or technical procedures in the workflow.
- Assess new technology for process improvement.
- Manage sub-contractors and ensure technical and HSE compliance.
Skills
Requirements:
- Land-Surveyor with appropriate Geodetic degree qualifications from a recognised University
- Minimum 10 years post qualification relevant experience in survey, computing and data management.
- Additionally, proven track record of managerial/supervisory and HSE skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS and field-to-finish technology is an advantage
- Preferably holding existing HSE course certificates
