Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work closely with the customers, suppliers and our marketing and manufacturing team members. You are expected to creatively apply mathematical analysis techniques in design assignments, to solve problems arising from prototype testing, and to proactively provide innovative solutions to product design.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
5 years demonstrated experience in an engineering design capacity
Able to apply engineering analytical sciences including FMEA, Virtual Moldflow analysis for design confidence
Familiarity with SDRC I-deas, 3D modelling and 2D drafting system, which consist of, steel fabrications and pressings, injection mouldings and extrusions
Practical experience in geometric tolerancing and dimensioning will be a definite advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Dynamic and possess a strong sense of urgency
Able to perform under pressure |
