Responsibilities:
* Prepare Design Calculations
* Provide design information to the draught person in order for them to prepare fabrication drawing.
* Check shop fabrication drawing and bill of materials
* Assist the Estimation/Contract Department with design scope of work during quotation stage.
* Prepare bill of materials such as for the major material.
* Provide material specification to production/QC as per code and client requirements.
* Submit design documents to third party for appraisal.
* Submit design documents for approval to local authority (Jabatan Keselamatan Dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Malaysia - JKKP)
* To attend kick off @ pre inspection meeting with client, client representation and internal kick off meeting with other department on the job involved.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
