Specific Job Functions:
Provide hair services including haircuts, blow drying and styling, hair treatments, up-dos, and hair extensions
Maintain the safety of all guests and staff by providing a clean and sanitary work environment; including sanitizing, disinfecting, and sweeping as necessary
Consults with customers on their hair needs, recommends professional hair care services and products.
Delivers quality technical service with emphasis on the customers total look.
Responsible for building a request client base through referrals and utilizing promotional materials available, while following all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a working knowledge of all products and provide guests with current information involving the latest techniques and procedures
Stock work stations and inform management of necessary inventory needing replacement
Provide excellent customer service by completing services promptly in the time allotted while maintaining professional and courteous behavior to all guests
Check equipment for damage or in need of repair
Adhere to the regulations and safety procedures when performing services.
Assist in front desk duties as needed when not scheduled with clients.
Be available and willing to assist clients with any concern they bring to you.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of at least two years ( 2) of Stylist experience
Minimum of at least one year ( 1) of guest service experience
Professional appearance and demeanor
Salon experience
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. |
