A multinational company, world class vendor of telecommunication software solution company, located in Technology Park Malaysia is currently seeking for (Senior) Software Engineer/Developer.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirement gathering and analysis for software components
2. Technical design and specifications preparation for software components
3. Implementation, testing and troubleshooting of complex code.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in technology or computing (studies in telecommunications preferred)
2. Ideally 3-4 years experience in software development, for senior position 5+ years of experience
3. Experience in C/C++, Perl and/or Java
4. Java architecture, design patterns and OO methodologies
5. Experience in UNIX scripting and knowledge of UNIX operating system has added advantage.
6. Eclipse or other IDE's has added advantage.
7. Knowledge of Databases (RDBMS), SQL programming and Oracle
8. Understanding of modern software development methodologies such as RUP, Scrum/XP, Agile System's integration technologies and protocols, especially using web services (SOAP)
9. Experience in communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, FTP/FTAM, RADIUS, DIAMETER and SNMP.
10. Experience and knowledge on telecom applications is considered an advantage .
11. Good written and spoken English.
12. Ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
13. International project and telecom experience is major advantage.
