Position with a multinational manufacturing company, with Corporate Office located in Mid Valley.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs a variety of financial reporting and analysis activities for area of assigned responsibility.
2. Records accounting transactions to properly reflecting the financial status.
3. Reconciles and analyzes financial data and account balances to ensure the integrity of financial information relied upon by management and other financial analysts.
4. Assists in the developing budgets and cost analysis.
5. Identifies and solves problems of limited scope and complexity.
6. Identifies improvements and assists with implementing change for assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
2. Able to work independently, achieve defined goals and meet deadlines.
3. Proficient in PC skills and software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP.
4. Financial Analysis - Solid analytical skills. Able to perform financial evaluations and draw conclusions from financial/business data. Exercises technical/professional judgment.
5. Working knowledge of financial systems and procedures.
6. Working knowledge of related corporate policies and procedures and applicable governmental rules and regulations.
7. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and application for fairness and accuracy of reporting business/financial information
8. Good communication skills. Anticipates and responds to the needs of others when conveying information. Influences others positively and encourages their participation in discussion.
