Position with a multinational manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
1. Software enhancements to existing and new tools,
2. Build new solutions and reports to help automate processes and provide new software tools as needed.
3. Develop system requirements, identify alternatives and assist in identifying associated costs.
4. Implement new solutions and enhancements to existing tools, providing troubleshooting support as required.
5. Contributes toward/enables I.T. team’s continuous improvement efforts.
6. Enhance existing user administration tools, provide new software solutions, and additional automated reports.
7. Provide 24 hour on call production support and trouble shooting, including nights & weekends, as needed, although the frequency should be very low.
Requirements:
1. Very proficient at software program development using: ASP.NET.
2. Proficient at software program development using: C Sharp, Visual Basic, and a little Perl.
3. Experience coding Oracle queries and ability to interfaces to Active Directory.
4. Experience with other areas of I.T. such as networking, security, database, clients, & servers would be added advantage.
5. Good written and verbal English communications skills with strong team focus, and results driven.
6. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Project management experience would be benefical.
7. 3-5 years of programming development experience required. |
