Position with a leading healthcare and research-based pharmaceutical company. Headquartered in the UK and with operations based in the US, they are one of the industry leaders in the world's pharmaceutical market.
Responsibilities:
1. Business requirement analysis includes writing business specifications for development work.
2. Perform technical feasibility study, evaluate requirements and recommend solutions.
3. Provide implementation support for new projects or enhancements.
4. Perform coding, testing and facilitate UAT.
5. Provide end-user support and resolve helpdesk tickets
Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science or related Business qualification.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in a system development or support role, preferably with a MNC.
3. Must have excellent skills in SQL Server, Lotus Notes, VBA and Excel.
4. Hands-on knowledge on SQL Windows/Centura or JDE will be an added advantage.
5. Experience in project implementation and end-user support.
6. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong initiative and ability to work independently are essential attributes.
8. Contract position of 1 year. The right candidate, possibility to be converted to permanent position.
