The company is an e-commerce service provider that operates Malaysia's first, largest and most established e-transaction exchange which serves over 3,000 customers, mainly from the Government, trade and logistics sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide high level of expertise in the design and assist in the development of any new application software. Involve in enhancement and maintenance of applications.
2. Perform operational-level programming and system analysis functions for routine application systems.
3. Analyze functional requirements and conceptual design for the development of new product or enhancement to existing product.
4. Ensure development is completed per functional specifications standards through the relevant test (Quality Assurance and System Integration Testing/SIT).
5. Assist in the preparation of Solution Proposals for new business product requirements.
6. Develop and oversee the development of the User Guide and Standard Operating Procedures for any new applications or enhancements done to existing applications.
7. Provide technical consultancy and advisory to other departments on new application or enhancement on existing applications.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Experience in J2EE/Java/Oracle database and knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle.
3. Knowledge in Struts framework/XML/UNIX is an added advantage.
4. Able to work independently, team player, quick learner, proactive, good interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
5. Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
6. Minimum 2 years of strong application development experience with multiple complete SDLC exposure in J2EE/Java environment.
7. Reporting to Manager, Solution Design
