The company is an e-commerce service provider that operates Malaysia's first, largest and most established e-transaction exchange which serves over 3,000 customers, mainly from the Government, trade and logistics sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Administration of various UNIX servers ranging from HP-UX, Sun Solaris and Red Hat.
2. Administration of the Informix Database on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
3. Monitoring and maintenance of Company’s production system such as the front end processor, PKCS, SACS and the messaging broker.
4. Application support for MITI related to technical issues.
5. Second level of support for critical problems within Company’s infrastructure.
6. Provide statistical reports on the data center systems performance to Management on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Knowledge and experience in HP-UX and other UNIX operating system, in application/software support and in Informix database.
3. Having knowledge of customs import/export procedures, trade facilitation and UN/EDIFACT is an added advantage.
4. Good communication skills, analytical/problem solving skills, team player and proactive.
5. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
6. Minimum 1-3 year(s) working experience with UNIX (HP-UX) support and administration or equivalent.
