Responsibilities:
1. Analyse customer's business requirements and determines if the requirements are configurable using core code
2. To analyse, problem solve, design and gives estimates on solution
3. System and Solution Design, Architecture Design
4. HW Sizing and Performance Analysis
5. System and Solution Specification
6. System and Solution implementation (software programming) - Support Solution Development process through the whole life-cycle as an active member of the
project team on Direct or Partner led projects
7. Solution Delivery Installations
8. Quality Control and Technical Feasibility Analysis
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology or computing (studies in telecommunications preferred)
2. More then 3 years practical experience in software development and senior customer facing technical consulting role:
3. Demonstratable knowledge of primarily UNIX base environment
4. Java and Oracle based application development and configuration experience essential:
5. A min 3 years PL/SQL application experience + 1 year SQL.
6. Min 3 years Java/C/Perl development experience
7. OSS deployment in a telecoms environment. Knowledge and experience of service activation, mediation, inventory or order management would be a distinct
advantage
8. A working knowledge of IPVPN and/or DSL would be distinct advantage
9. Familiar with protocols: SNMP, Telnet, TL-1, SSH, CORBA, SOAP
10. Experience in Oracle RDBMS
11. Strong knowledge of Unix Server (Sun/HP/IBM) performance analysis
12. Excellent customer-oriented and service-minded approach with the ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
13. Knowledge with telecom applications and international telecom project experience is major advantage
14. Good written and spoken English. |
