Your current skills and education will include the following,
Education:
1. University graduate.
Working Experience:
1. 2 to 4 years Managerial level experience in a service management environment, within an Application Management organization or a Shared Services Centre.
2. Demonstated capability in presenting to senior management.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
1. In-depth knowledge and understanding of:
ITIL Service Management processes (desirable but not mandatory)
Managing diverse service delivery functions
2. Strong business acumen. Understanding of how CSC-delivered services in HR, F&A and IT support business processes and solve business issues.
3. Knowledge of “Best Practices” in Service Management.
4. Effectively able to apply structured problem solving skills and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options.
5. Ability to influence upward and across by negotiating realistic expectations and deadlines in order to achieve goals while maximizing client/business satisfaction levels.
6. Human relations/leadership and communications skills are important to develop and establish cooperation and rapport with service recipients at working levels and of different nationalities; work as a team member with the CSC.
7. Ability to convey information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
My requirements for the potential fit would be:
1. Mandarin speaker a MUST ( speak, read, and write Mandarin as this incumbent would be servicing business groups/clients in China)
2. Strong service delivery skills ( background in handling/monitoring Service Level Agreements ( SLAs) to ensure timeliness in service delivery.
3. Continuous Improvement skills
4. Client relationship management
5. Preferably background in Business Process Outsourcing ( BPO).
