Responsibilities:
To set / monitor / ensure tooling teams achieve their goals, primarily tool uptime.
To establish standard operating procedures and defect control strategies.
To build strategies spares for all tools and control of workshop supplies expenses.
To assist, lead, coach and motivate Tooling Technicians/ Engineers/ Supervisors / Assistant Supervisors in their skills / knowledge development.
To coach, train and disseminate Tooling Best Practices.
To maintain 5S work environment.
To ensure proper set-up, preventive maintenance and trouble shoot of stamping tools.
Requirements:
Trade Certificate in Tool and Die Making or equivalent.
At least 8 years of working experience in maintaining precision leadframe and connector stamping tools. Experience in Power leadframe preferred.
Knowledge in tool and die making, tooling machine and equipment operations.
Ability to understand and use basic problem solving tools like SPC, 5W1H and Fishbone analysis.
Ability to read tooling drawings and GD&T dimensioning.
