Responsibilities:
New Packaging/Interconnects technology development (Semiconductors) in cooperation with Customers R&D, Prototyping and Ops Prod Eng, develop new technology bricks that are missing in the Market or which can complement Possehl technology portfolio. This should need cross work with External (Customer,Suppliers) as well as Internal (Tech Sales,Proto,Prod Eng)
Develop a R&D structure (team+lab) in Singapore and increase PE competence and capability from Technology stand point. Manage the team in a Technology result orientated and technical performance.
Ensure sustainability of the innovation and support the industrialization phase with Product Engineering in order to ensure that each effort done in R&D can be materialized in result for the Company and the new product/techno is viable,producable and sellable.
Develop strong contact and partnership with Customers’ R&D to support them from the Material stand point and built joint development project with them. This could lead to official R&D partnership and co-patent.
Develop Possehl IP through hiring competence and develop PE patent portfolio in order to bring PE independence on Technology and increase the IP “capital” and Value of PE
Define and Implement the R&D Roadmap and long term goals, R&D budget (equipment,people,investments)
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of working experience in the semiconductor and/or electronics interconnects industry
Proven track record
Result oriented, good inter-personal and communication skills.
