Responsibilities:
* Manage and administer network, servers and systems (which includes Windows, Linux & BSD servers, SQL databases, E-mail system, etc)
* Provide the necessary 2nd Level support to operational servers and systems, which are executing on a 24x7 basis
* Provide move-to-production assistant and testing to team members.
* Perform system and application security maintenance tasks, security and other system patching and also virus scanning and removal.
Requirements:
* Required skill(s): Linux, (CentOS/RedHat/Fedora/Suse),BSD, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange and Ms Office XP/2003 Support Skills.
* Strong knowledge of Internet applications and protocols, especially messaging (Postfix, Exchange) and web (Apache, PHP).
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
* Skilled in diagnosing and isolating complex IT problems.
* Experience with Unix/Linux tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, team work skills and also ability to support multiple complex environments and platforms simultaneously
