Job description (Experience): - Studying of client architectural, civil and structure drawings for the preliminary material take off and cutting plans. - Studies projects specifications and scope of works. - Preparation of connection details as required by clients. - Explaining the job to the Junior Draughtsman (by making sketches) - Checking the models and shop drawings. - Preparing fabrications/shop drawings with material list (MTO), NC Files, PDF Files, etc. with respect to the client requirements. - Preparing marking plan/Erection and GA drawings, Foundation drawings, etc. - Corresponding with the clients (RFI) and submittal of shop drawings (IFA/IFC). - Dealing with the Checker and Manager. - Ensure the easy erection of the structural members, co-ordinate with shop foremen for solving problems encountered during fabrication. - Keep track of all changes (CR work) done during fabrication and erection, which need to be incorporated into as built drawings
