  • Description

  • Requirements: -
    Minimum SPM/SPMV/SKM with at least 10 years’ of working experience
    Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related with similar working experience will be an advantage
    Starting basic salary will be determined based on working experience
    Able to lead a team of mechanics and resourceful

    Responsibilities :
    To lead the team of Assistant Mechanics / Mechanics to carry out service, repair maintenance and troubleshooting for heavy equipment, Caterpillar 966 Wheel Loader, Toyota Forklift, pool cars etc. in good condition, and ensure no shortage for daily production
    Plan, prepare servicing, repair maintenance schedule for heavy equipment to ensure optimum operation
    Plan and prepare yearly plan & budget / CAPEX for heavy equipment
    Keep record of operator / mechanic’s daily operating / repairing / servicing activities
    To check, verify & monitor all heavy equipment checklist / WO / DT to ensure optimum operation
    Monitor and control the usage & stocks of spare parts
    To plan and request for parts to avoid delay in deliveries causing longer downtime
    To ensure no wastage of working hour, fuel, lubricants & consumables / spare parts
    To ensure all records of equipment maintenance / servicing / hour meter / diesel usage are updated
    To ensure completion of daily FMEA updates
    To checks & submit daily full time update of heavy equipment’s condition to Superior
    Ensures safe working procedures, environment and good housekeeping
    Other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
