Job Scopes:

• Intellectual Property and determining the patentability of the company’s inventions.

• Performing prior art searches and providing IP alerts of industrially relevant patent disclosures and publication.

• Development of partner relationships within the innovators (e.g. Universities, Start Up’s and Institutions).

• Translating technologies to the benefit of our manufacturing and product platforms.

• Work closely with the local patent law firm and patent team of OCI in Korea.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree. Masters preferred with a background in chemistry or materials.

• Intellectual Property (IP) experience would be beneficial.

• Solid communicator: Includes verbal and written communications, active listening, and persuasiveness.

• Demonstrated record as a team player within a diverse environment.

• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize assignment and work independently to complete assignments, responding appropriately to completing requirements and changing priorities.

• Fluent in English, optionally Korean.
