JOB VACANCY

POSITION - SHIPPING EXECUTIVE

LOCATION - BUKIT RIMAU, SHAH ALAM

SALARY - RM 2500-3500

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reports to Head of Shipping.

2. Ensure smooth collaboration between Planning and Shipping team in order to meet customers' expected time of delivery and overall Shipping Master Plan.

3. Ensure all related documentation, such as Shipping Listing, BL, Consignment Notes, Certificate of Origin, Custom codes etc and Haulages / Vessel bookings are made as per expectation of the customers’ delivery date.

4. Ensure all shipments adhere to the terms and conditions of sales and/or the terms of the Letter of Credit.

5. Liaise closely with shipping companies in negotiating competitive freight rates and space bookings.

6. Good knowledge in online shipment booking

7. Assign duties to subordinates and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

8. Determine and study to standardize working procedures, work schedules, and improve the workflow and efficiency of workers.

9. To ensure that all import/ exports documentations are in compliance with Customs Tariff Code and import/exports regulations.

10. Any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. Formal Qualification

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Logistic/Manufacturing, Business Studies & Administration / Management or equivalent.

2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.

3. Familiar with online warehousing/shipping system.

4. At least 2-5 year(s) of working experience in export manufacturing company.

5. Preferably Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.

6. Able to start immediate.
